Are the quotes too high or reasonable? I was offered 2000 dollar off if I use them. ($19xxx.xx for goodman and $21xxx.xx for lennox)

WE PROPOSED TO FURNISH MATERIALS AND LABOR FOR INSTALLATION OF A SPLIT HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM INCLUDING ATTIC DUCT WORK REPLACEMENT ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:

Work includes: Remove existing equipment and related materials from job site

Relocate outdoor unit to behind chimney

Seal existing return air cavity Merv 13 media air cleaner

Sheet metal Connections to existing refrigerant lines

Connections to existing condensate drain line system with new safety shut off

Provide external condensate pan with shut off

Eliminate secondary condensate drain line and remove related gutter

Connections to existing low voltage control

wiring New 230v electrical circuit to air handler

Refrigerant system evacuation to below 500 microns with vacuum pump

Precise refrigerant charge using digital gauges

Duct Replacement:

Perform computerized room by room heat load calculations with air flow requirements using ACCA Manual J method

Design new duct system and plans using ACCA Manual D method

Install new duct system using UL listed class 1 flex duct to existing supply air outlets and return air inlets. Install manual volume dampers in all final duct lines

Seal all metal-to-metal joints with duct mastic Insulate all exposed sheet metal with 1.5” fiberglass insulation Seal duct system to meet California Title 24 leakage requirements
