Who Is Protected?

The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of:

• Race Color National Origin Religion Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation) Familial Status Disability

 

1. section 8   联邦政府的法律不禁止拒绝，但是有的州的法律要求不歧视收入来源，补贴，离婚赡养费，工资，需要一视同仁。

2，pets   可以拒绝

3，smoking   可以拒绝

4. credit 低於700  可以拒绝

5，同性恋   不可以因为同性恋的原因拒绝，但是可以因为其他合法原因拒绝。
