NEUTRALS WITH CHERRY BLOSSOMS IN DC

Being a mom, I don’t get to travel much. But I usually manage to get at least one trip every year to get some “JUST ME” time. This year, I decided to chase the cherry blossoms in DC and share them with you in this post!

My photographer and I were there in the last weekend of March. The blossom was already at the tail end of it, but the flowers still looked very delicate and poetic!

I purposely arranged a natural look so I don’t detract from the beauty of the blossoms. Besides, wearing neutrals is always a good idea with all the colors that spring brings us. 

In this look, I wore a beige-colored dress with interesting details such as the gold metal chain highlight across the V-collar, and the button details on the sleeve.  For shoes, I chose the same Chanel slingback pump shoe I used in my previous post– “Chanel, You finally got me!”

This dress fits various body types. It is rather forgiven and flattering at same time.

I wish we had more cherry blossom photos but along the Tidal Basin lake was PACKED with people.  Well, I am using above photo to end this post which can’t be more appropriate right?!
