敬爱的8老师好！我2020年给我国内的弟弟办的亲属移民（F4 category）。I-130在2022年批准。看最新的visa  bulletin, 排期到了2007年。我母亲最近考过了公民，所以考虑用母子关系也给我弟弟申请（F3），排期是2011年。下面是问题 ---谢谢您！

 

1. 我弟弟可以有两个申请同时进行吗？

-Yes.

 

2. 您觉得这样可以加快4年吗？

-Hard to say because your mother's I-130 petition is filed nearly five years later after your I-130 petition, but just try and not hurt you anyting except the I-130 filing fee.

 

3. 如果我母亲递交申请，怎样能让移民局 保留原来的优先日期 （retain priority date）？还是不可以？

-Your I-130 priority date cannot be used as your mother's I-130 priority date because the petitioners (you and your mother) are different though the beneficiary is the same, i.e., the two I-130 peititons are based on two different 排期 of the two categoies.
