请问8老师：朋友是绿卡，如果为配偶办亲属移民，排期是两到三年。请问：有没有
什么方法能让绿卡配偶在美国等排期？

-The spouse needs to have a legal status (e.g. H-1) until he/she files I-485. Another choice is that the sponsor (green card holder) becomes a US citizen if the beneficiary (spouse) can not keep the valid status.
