因为我和我先生没有小孩，所以在1年零8个月以前，以中国公民的身份在当地福利机构领养了一个Baby。有所有的领养手续和公证。一直由父母代养。我将于5月宣誓成为美国公民，这样我就可以为我领养的孩子办理移民手续了。我想请问一下，

这个移民手续是不是类似于申请父母亲，
-Yes.
直接递130 和 485？
-Because the kid is not in US currently, he/she can not file I-485. If he/she can come to US, then you can file I-130 and I-485 at the same time.



打电话问了两个律师，一位说是，一位说只要130，
-You only can file I-130 if the kid is in China and then, the kid can use consular processing to get the immigration visa in the US Consulate in Guangzhou.


请问哪位正确？

手续复杂吗？
-Not really.
需要请律师吗？
-You may need lawyer because the kid is adopted (may need to convenice USCIS in this issue).

是不是两年以上就可以当作自己小孩申请？（再过4个月就满领养两年了）。

从申请到批准大概要多久？
-6 to 1 year normally.
