even if your wife doesn't have any income, she will still need to fill out i864. At page 7 of i864, for annual household income, enter you and your wife's combined household income. This way, you can show ins your family has enough income. You don't need to fill out i864A.

Your citizen friend will need to fill out another i864(not i864A).
