Wrong, as a parent I've gone through college admission.

My child didn't go to IVYs, and a student (socially and economically disadvantaged chinese boy) whom my child tutored went to Harvard.

As matter of fact, my conclusion is that in general, girls and Asians have advantages in current selection system of top college admission which is heavily based on GPA.

The fact that many high stats asian students couldn't make to top univ. is not the results of specific discrimination against asians, rather it's the result of balance in all aspects.
