People take it for granted that they have a home country full of people who look like them. A place where they belong, where they are seen as an individual instead of a stereotype. Parents like to go on about how their children will have "the best of both worlds", but that's little more than wishful thinking. In reality, being mixed is a disadvantage in every stage of life.
