朋友和儿子持投资移民绿卡，每半年来几个星期，最近这次返回时在美国机场登机口儿子被查。警察说他可能不需要绿卡了，随后叫来一名工作人员将他的绿卡信息输入到像手机一样的设备里，之后把绿卡还给他。他下一步该这么做？会有什么麻烦？衷心感谢帮助！

Anyway, his green card is still valid, but he had better apply for the reentry permit to travel to China, otherwise his green card will be taken away and cancelled at the next time travel.
