-You may not need to file a new I-485 and just request USCIS to do the I-485 interfiling/transfer when your spouse files I-130 or after the I-130 filing. Thus, you can save some money and get the green card faster (not need biometrics and background check again in this case).
You can continue to use the existed EAD and AP until it expires after you file I-130 or file a new I-485.
