just signs his/her name when everything is done. We read the literature, we pop up ideas, we design the research, we do the work, we write the paper, we write the proposals, we supervise the students. Finally she/he just takes everything. Are you saying we are not contributing to the society? I do not think we are just labor. We are actually backbones in the lab.
