这是我的情况。公司已经开始给办绿卡了。广告打了。perm是今年1月份的。现在刚刚
开始申请140。这个时候，我想跳到本公司的另外一个部们。这两个部门做的东西不一
样，但是需要的skillset是一样的：写写代码，跑跑程序。在这种情况下，如果跳到那
个部门，对绿卡申请会有什么影响？需要主动告诉公司的绿卡律师吗？如果是跳到其他
公司呢？据说，绿卡申请到一定阶段时，可以随便换公司跳槽，在那之前，如果工作岗
位有变动的话，就得从头开始绿卡申请。我是一头雾水，不了解实情。还请大家分享一
下自己的经验和知识。多谢！

-If you change job after you file I-485 for 180 days or more, then your I-485 will not be affected. If you change job beore your I-140 is filed or approved, then it is equal to that you never apply for green card yet. If you change job after your I-140 is approved, then you still need to do it all over again, but you can use the approved I-140 priority date as your new I-140 priority date.
