如果Ｆ２ 被拒后， ”unlawful presence"  就是 out of status 吗？

-Not really.

-If you are just out of status (e.g. H-1 holder loses job) for more than 180 days, you can not file I-485 within US, but if you leave US, you will not be subjected to 3- or 10- year bar. If you are unlawfully present for > 180 days (e.g. overstay 180 days aftere I-94 expires), you can not file I-485 either and if you leave US, you will be sujected to 3- or 10- year bar.

再久就影响绿卡485 了。
