i am in a deadend situation where my daughter's green card application may get denied... i received my green card in 2003 under EB2 and applied for my daughter (she's 18 year old back then) under following-to-join benefits in August 2003...her case was originally approved in 10/2007 (finally) according to CIS online case status... the problem is that we never physically received her GC...after so many following-up calls...& infopass appts, she finally got an interview this past thursday... but unfortunately she did not get GC ... due to my status changed from PR to USC in 10/2008 (according to my lawyer...)
If she gets denied, she needs to leave us w/i 30 days... and i need to find a way to correct this.
