Overseas Assignment - EB2 & 140 approved

A humble bow to all masters,

My employer has supported my green card application under EB2 and my 140 has just been approved. Now, the company wants to offer me an overseas position (in the same company) for two years. Currently, I am on H1B. Would appreciate if any of you masters could help me on below two questions:

1. Do you have to stay in the US most of the time before/during/after 485 filing?

2. New job title is very similar to my current one (i.e. from Manager of xxx in yyy function to Director of xxx in zzz function)

Once again, your help would be appreciated.
