Some questions about EB3 to EB2, please help.

My case is:
EB3
PD: 2005-12
I-140 approved and I485 submited at July 2007.
I changed job at march 2008.
I am considering to find a company who want to sponsor my EB2.

I have a few questions about the process:
1. How do I know if my previous company revoke my I-140 or not? If it
revoked my I-140, then does it mean that I can't use my previous PD?
2. Do I need to find similar jobs to take my previous PD?
