I140 and I485 RD July 2003
Fingerprinted 4 or 5 times
EAD numerous
Called INS (before it's called USCIS) 3 times, received last letter saying stuck in name check
Infopass 2/14/2008
GC AD 3/19/2008 message on USCIS website and received email messages

It seems the 180-day memo works!

Good luck to all Chinese compatriots who have been stuck in name check for years!
