Depending on what fields you are in, I guess, e.g., in biomedical research, abstracts are pretty much worth nothing, and I don't think it's worth to EMPHAIZE them. But I definitely suggest that you should LIST all of them at the end of your real publictions. And also perhaps state in your cover letter that you have presented your work/progress in all kinds of international conferences etc. Again, just to add more weights to the IMPRESSION part.
