I did my PERM by myself last august. PERM was approved in 2 days; I-140 was approved in 35 days. If you like to do by yourself, do some homework. I think it worth it. Nobody know yourself better than you. Sometimes lawyer take longer time to prepare all the doc. Just a advice.
