PERM/EB2,help!

请教小白兔及各位大侠，I only received H1B approval notice as Research Technologist II on August. Now I want to file PERM/EB2. I have a Master Degree, but HR’s deion for this position is Bachelor's degree. My question:
1.My attorney says if I file PERM as Research Technologist II, it will go to EB3 when file I-140. Is it true?
2.IS it possible to promote to the higher position within the same occupation as Research Technologist Sr. which the minimum request is a Mater’s Degree now, since I just begin my H1B?
3.For this promotion, do I need to file the amended petition for H1B?
4.I heard if use the Technologist title for PERM and then I-140, it will mostly go to EB3, true or false? Or they determine with the degree request and the level for the position?
5.For PERM, do I need to be at the position before I file PERM, or it means I will at this position when I get the GC?
