EB-2 has different category. For instance, NIW does not need sponsorship and you can file 140 right now, while others might need LC or PERM.

Regression is for 485 only. You can still file 140 now but not 485. You will have to wait until your PD (ususally the date USCIS receive your 140 application)become current to be able to file 485 (the same for AP and EAD applications)
