2 Cents:I-140,PERM EB2, Employment letter,copy ok?

I-140, PERM Based EB2, required employment letter from former employer, is it copy ok? or has to be original? I only got one original from former employer, don't want to lose it. Is a notorized copy satisfied? thank you so much!!!
