please help i-485 with EB-1a.

I-140 EB-1a approved 05/26/2005. Preparing to file I-485, is employment letter required? My current appointment expires in the end of Aug, 2005, but I will no doubt obtain a renewal for another year. Is it necessary to have the employer provide a letter for the expected renewal?
