case status information of EB1

Checked my status on USCIS website:
"On January 31, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."
How long does is take to receive the letter ?
Is this information of Approval or not sure ?
Since I filled the application in April, 2003, been waiting so long...
Any comment will be appreciated !!!
