请问：EB1B 140 Approved, 485 submitted, appending, 如果辞职，有什么后果？

请问8老师：我的一个朋友现在EB1B 140 Approved, 485 在以前有名额时已经submitted, 但一直appending, 估计要十月份才会有名额。现在有个比较好的职位，想去另一个公司，如果辞职，有什么后果？原来帮他申请EB1B的公司可以向移民局申请撤回他的pending 485吗？还有其他什么风险？
