取决于你的申请信（Petition Letter）是怎么写的——不是专家，回答供你参考

首先强调一点，我不是专家，下面的回答仅供你参考而已。

1）按照我的理解，EB1B的申请，必须最终落实到究竟是OR或OP，不能笼络和模糊。

2）如果是OP，不太清楚该如何算，因为按理说TA是Part-time的工作，无法算入三年的工作经验。如果是OR，那么至少在PHD期间开始发表文章时，便可以开始计算工作经验，即使RA其实也是Part-time的工作，但是有很多人都是这么算的。

3）建议你在申请信中弱化PHD期间的学生身份。比如，你可以说，I have been published scientific articles since the year of XXXX; my active participation, on a panel or individually, as the judge of work of others in the XXX field, started from the year of XXXX; Dr. XXX’s recommendation is based on my research results in the year of XXXX and collaborations that followed.所有这些表诉，都既清楚地表明了你从什么时候开始从事Research，同时又避而不提自己的学生身份。
