When I filed for PERM last month, the lawyer told me that PERM was required for EB1b and EB2, except EB1a and NIW.
- incorrect

So we need to get PERM approved first and then decide whether I wanted to go for EB1b or EB2. Is it true?

Or I can go with EB1b without a PERM?
