filed NIW case in Sept. 2006, got approved in Feb, 2008 after REF in NSC. My EB-1b submitted in Aug.2007, no news so far. My background is: Ph.D in China, > 20 first-auhtored papers (half in English), 2 books or 1 book chapter, proceedings >10, posters and abstracts >20, 1 invited presentation by a university, > 50 citations, 2 news reports about my research, reviwed 9 journal articles from 3 top journals, member of an expert committee engaged by local gov.,3 professional memberships, 11 reference letters.
