各位，请进。关于EB-1.谢。

我先生是Faculty, 我和他通过学校(employer petition) 申请了H-1 B. 现在他的情况如下。我作为配偶附在他的材料上。

My hu*****and got his I-140 approved in 2006 with a priority date at June 10, 2006. According to his attorney, he hasn't been able to start applying for his I-485 yet because the priority date in the Visa Bulletin (currently April 22, 2005 for EB2) is still not close to the priority date on his I-140. As a result, there is no security check in relation to his application.

因为他的priority date 和bulletin date 有backlog, 我们不知道要等多久才可以申请I-４８５。 现在律师说EB-1 是current 的，没有backlog, 且他们认为我的 credential 更强， 于是建议以我的名义申请EB-l 的 Alien of Extraordinary Ability petition along with arguing an Outstanding Researcher petition。

请问我有没有必要申请， 还是等我先生的申请算了。 没办法，主要还是担心几千快钱打水飘。谢。
