Can I file EB1b?

I am currently a post-doc in a university. I have 15 journal papers + 15 conference presentations, about 40 citations, 1 patent ted, 7 reviews for journals. Several media cover my research work.

I got an offer from a major semiconductor company recently. However, my position there is not research-oriented, it is more on the development side.

I am wondering if I am eligible for EB1b after I join the company? Many thanks!
