Can I apply EB1b if NIW was approved? xiaobaitu and other XDJM p

I applied NIW 09/05 (both 140 and 485), 485 pending. My question is: can I apply for Eb1b (plus a new 485) since it is current? What if it is denied, any side effects on my NIW case? or I better get Eb1b approved as well? Thank you so much for your help!!!
