Ask Xiaobaitu and other experts: NIW-I485 switch to EB1

Dear Xiaobaitu and other bro and sis:

I ted my NIW-140 and I-485 in Aug.4, 2005 and 140 had been approved on October, 2005. Since the I-485 progress in EB2 & EB3 is extreamly slow, I feel desperatly and plan to apply EB-1B, through school. I am wondering, if my new 140 got approved, can I link my old 485 with the new 140 (EB-1B)? In other words, will my priority date is still August, 2005?
