Can I file EB1 after the lawyer filed my NIW? Need your advice.

Does any one has experience on this? Please give some advice.

My I-140(NIW) was filed by a Lawyer. If I want to file another I-140 based on Eb1a, do I have to go through it with the lawyer? Do I have to tell him and get his permission before I do this? Can I file it by myself?


Any suggestion is highly appreciated!
