You can check Sigma Xi website. There are two ways you get fullmembership: one needs nomination, the other you can apply directly from selection committee, by which you should specify that you DO NOT know any chapter. In addition, send them your CV, with publication list and two papers.

Wait for good news.

Please check Sigma Xi website for most recent procedure.

I have no idea about AAAS.
