EB-1b Special Handling，议员的新消息, 小白兔等大侠指点一下好么？

我的I-140是公司办的，去年五月和I-485一起递上去，至今全没有消息，请律师催了几次。最后律师告诉我INS来信了，内容有

Upon receipt of your letter requesting expeditious handlin, this matter was reviewied and a determination was made that it met the criterial fro special handling.
The petition/application will be reviewed and you should be receiving notification from this office very shortly.

有那位有相同经历的吗？哪位高人指点一下好不好？

有听说Professor职位的可以申请Special Handling, 从来没有听说过EB-1B也可以Special Handling. 有人可以指点以一下么？

INS所说的very shortly要多长时间？有人有经验么？

今天又接到议员的信，说
'INS indicated your case have been referred to a adjudicating officer on 9/26'

这两个消息一致么，能不能提示一下，多谢了。
