If the person is too NB, cis may argue that you should be as good as them. One of my 推荐人 (member of NAS) has over 20 papers in Nat/Sci/Cell and several hundreds of other papers. 让我删掉了大部分. Another 推荐人 (also NAS member) I only 保留two pages (honors and five papers).
