You can retain your ealiest PD for your any subsequent petitions such as EB1.

If your pending 485 is stuck in name check, then filing another one will not help you at all.

I guess, if your earliest PD becomes current based on EB1 category, then you can make a request to speed up your 485 processing. But if it is stuck in name check, then you need to deal with FBI to clear your name check.
