申请EB-1的certificates of research experience

请教高人, 申请EB-1的support documents 中的certificates of research experience. 我99 年离开一个地方, 他们当时便给我开了个证明. 2003年离开一个地方, 他们也给我开了个证明. 请问EB-1的support documents 中的certificates of research experience 是否可以将原来的证明复印一下,再作个公证就行了? 多谢了.
