英语够烂的。

"economic advisor of president" should be "presidential economic advisor",

"I can travel freely since today." should be "I can travel freely from now on."

鄙人以为英语好坏多少决定case快慢。I filed my petition (140NIW + 485) to VSC too. From filing to getting the card it only took me two months. I believe my well written petition letter and the personal statement make the difference.

My advice to all those who want to file by 10/1: Pay exremely attention to your writing. If you are not confident, hire an American for proof reading. It is worth the money.
