Just found out my EAD application (VSC, RD: April 21, 2005) was approved on June 13. Yours should be processed soon. In any event, after 90 days since your RD, you can go to the local office and get a temporary card. I was seriously considering doing this since the beginning of my application, given the unpredictable processing time from case to case.
