where to file EAD card?

I am living in Maryland, and my I-485 case has been transferred to the local USCIS. Could anyone tell me where should I file the renewal of EAD card? I thought I should file to Vermont Center, but my lawyer told me I should file to an USCIS office in Chicago. Your help is appreciated.
