can H1, EAD be used together?

This computer don't allow me to type Chinese. Sorry.

I am working for a company with H1B. My 140 is approved. I filed 485 and EAD.

The reason I file the EAD is that a university here want to give me an Adjunct Faculty position and let me do some research with them. Of course, the Adjunct Faculty position will only use my weekend time and there is minimum financial benefit to me. But the research topic is interesting.

In my case, can I take the Adjunct Faculty position? Can I hold my current job and do the research in school at the same time? Is there any negative impact to me?
