Will my EAD be rejected?

I am a F-1 Student, and have applied I-485 based on my hu*****and's I-140 in last Oct. Two weeks ago, I applied EAD based on my F-1 OPT, but now I heard that my EAD will be rejected because of my pending I-485 (immigration intent). Anyone has same experience? Originally I thougt it will be safe for me to apply EAD based on F1-OPT rather than basd on pending 485, so I can still be in F1-OPT if I-485 gets rejected.

Any advices are welcome.
