请教8老师：是应该renew EAD卡还是重新申请EAD卡？

请8老师指点：我老婆2013年递交485时申请了EAD卡，两个月后EAD卡批准，但2014年485遭拒绝，EAD也就无效了，期间递交290B后，又递交了EAD的renew， 但因为290B一直pending, EAD的renew也被拒，最近290B批准了，485进入reopen状态，因此可以再次递交EAD申请，请问是应该属于完全重新申请新的EAD还是属于renew以前过期的EAD？
