目前是H1B，485 pending，EAD有，但一直没使用。

现在因为promotion，公司要重新办H1B，

-Your employer just need to file an H1 amendment now and then, you can work for the new position (not need to wait for the h1 amendment approval to work).

告诉我要1年左右才能最终移民局批下来。

我可以先使用EAD吗？这样工资就先涨了，然后等H1B下来了再用H1B。还是我一用EAD，H1B的申请就自动作废了？

还惦记着H1B，就是因为怕到时 EAD renewal出乱子，续不上就完了。
