Urgent help -- EAD renewal

Hi All -

Sorry I can not type the Chinese.
My EAD expries on 8/17/2010, and I submitted the applicaitn on 5/4/2010.

On 8/4, my attorney submitted inquiry and today she submitted another email.

I am using EAD for my current job and I might be forced not to work in another a few days.

In this situation, what I can do? I heard EAD applicaiton is going slow recently.

Can I apply for the interim EAD? M attorney is a white and she said I can not apply for the interim EAD, because USCIS just stopped recently. Can anyone tell me it is true?
