EAD renewal

我的EADrenewal到8月17号就过期了。9月2日整九十天，也就是我开学上班时间。我是老师，现在放暑假。如果在8月17号以后到9月2号之间我拿到EAD，是不是就不需要和学校讲EAD过期的事了？如果在九月2日还没有拿到，我再告诉单位，可以吗？应该怎么做，还真有点头疼。凡请大家出出主意了。感谢！！！
