EAD 申请

现在打算申请EAD，之前申请 I485时 没有申请EAD. 请问，什么时间可以递交申请？我的H1B 6月到期。网上说，在120天之内申请renew，如果第一次申请也需要等到在120天之内吗？谢谢！！！
