-The problem is that both of your and your spouse's I-485 have been invalid already because you and your spouse left U.S. for China without using AP. So, your LD can not apply for EAD after he/she enters U.S. with B2 visa. He/she has to re-file a new I-485 when the priority date (PD) becomes current. So, he/she have to change his /her B2 status to H1 to work and stay in U.S. You can get an H1 visa to enter U.S. if possible and re-file the I-485 when your spouse PD becomes current. If you stay in China, you can also get your green card in China (广州领事馆) using Consular processing when the PD becomes current.

我们想请各位老师帮助以下问题：
1）请问LD可以现在在国内申请EAD卡吗？
-No.
2）为了485能批准，LD需要这样两边待吗？按照签证官的说法，我们是否在绿卡下来之前的手续都可以在广州办理呢？
